Samuel Sidney Dunn was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at the age of 76 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Congratulations to Kathryn on her All Region tryout. She not only made the Honors (Top) Band, she was the number ONE piccolo in the competition and moves to the pre-area competition on Monday.
Even thought there was a mix-up with her registration, she stayed focused and played wonderfully. She did not let the problems rattle [...]

Alex competed in the District level Geography Bee - and came away with second place!
What I did not realize was that at the District level, the students of all grade levels compete against each other. So he was a 5th grader competing against 4th through 8th graders.

Alex won the school Geography Bee for Daniel the week before Thanksgiving. He was awarded a medal and the chance to continue on to the District - and possibly the State - level of competition.
The National Geography Bee is sponsored by JPMorganChase to promote the National Geographic Society.
