Mom and Dad will be returning to Beaumont on Thursday. The doctor at Nacogdoches has decided that Dad will well enough to return home, and to make sure that the trip is easier is ordering an ambulance to transport him.

Dad continues to improve, it now appears sure that he will be released from the Hospital this week. Both infections appear to be under control. Mom says he is in good spirits, and has been sitting up each day. As of last night, he was still receiving antibiotics.

Power is back on in my parents neighborhood. They may try to return Tuesday or Wednesday. I will update more when I have more details.

Talked to Mom this morning. All is well, almost too well.
The doctor is very pleased with Dad’s progress, and has indicated that he will likely be discharged this week. This is great news on the medical front. The only problem is the timing.

Received another good report on the house in Beaumont. The neighbors across the street were able to go inside and found that there was no immediate internal damage. The roof blew off the back yard tool shed.
The water is back on - but no other utilities.
