A Redesign at Texas Hiking

If you have not visited Robert Barron’s TexasHiking.com you really should. Robert has recently completed a site redesign that will allow him to add new features to support this great Texas outdoors resource site.
TexasHiking has an excellent database of hikes – from day hikes to longer multi-day adventures. You can log your own hikes, rate hikes, or download maps and GPS tracks for many hikes.
Robert’s other sites are worth a visit. He also runs Austin Explorer which offers coverage of activities in the Austin area.

Austin Daytrip

Ever have the feeling that you just have to get away?

Well – we were hit with that feeling this weekend. Just could not stand hanging around Dallas this weekend. So we decided to take a day-trip to Austin.

For those of you not familiar with Austin, it is likely the best place in Texas to visit. There is something for everyone at every age.
